Once upon a time there was an
artist named Marge Crunkleton and
everything she created was called "Crunkle-something".
She created an imaginary Garden Club in Lincoln County, NC, where she
lives... Then "plopped" them in a fictitious wee town called "Crunkleville". Those who collected her
charming little figurines were affectionately known as "Crunkle-lectors"... and hence the fun
began.
Something wonderful happened
to to "Crunkle-lectors". They stepped into
another dimension... into their imaginations.
Diagnosed with "Crunkle-itis", they will never ever be the
same.
NOTE: Crunkleville is an imaginary town and although it's Make Believe,
the funny old people are real. Folks from all over send in photos of
interesting faces... Marge picks her favorites, then sculpts a likeness,
which is reproduced, hand painted, and signed. Then introduced as new
members of the Lincoln County Garden Club. So in a sense, Crunkleville is real.
